Every time you bring a partner on a Crime Scene, this one offers you GOLDEN WORDS. The GOLDEN WORDS are special Objects taken from the Objects you need to find.

A normal partner will offer you one GOLDEN WORD. However, if you have teammate playing the game regularly, they can offer you more GOLDEN WORDS and finding them all can grant you up to 100,000 extra score! The Energy refills over time.

Every 4 minutes and 30 seconds, you get 1 Energy point. You don’t have to be logged into the game to get Energy back, you can leave the game and come back later to find your bar refilled.

The Energy is capped at 80 points, which means that it will stop refilling once it reaches 80 points. Note: using Energy items (Coffee, Donut and Pizza) refills energy more quickly up to and over the 80 point limit!

Recruits enact the same role as a partner while investigating a crime scene; however, recruits will always be equipped with 5 golden words and also give you a chance to win a crime scene loot item. Recruits are hired from recruitment center pins on the map. To unlock recruitment centers, you have to collect a certain amount of gold badges.

Packages contain collectible items that you can use to complete collections in order to upgrade recruits to your CSI crew. Packages can be gained after you finish investigating a crime scene. NOTE: You can only have a maximum of 9 packages at once. To obtain more, you would have to open some of them. The partner entry point on the left side of the map takes you straight to your inventory page where you can check out all packages and collectible items obtained. Keys are required to open packages.

The spin the wheel feature allows you to get keys as rewards. 1 key = 1 package opening. Click on the partner entry point on the map - click on the inventory tab - click on a package to open it and you will receive a collectible item. In the spin the wheel feature, you will get an option to use coins and upgrade your chances of winning keys; however, you can only use a maximum of 4 upgrades per spin. Obtaining collectible items from packages helps you complete collections.

Completing collections will upgrade your recruits and CSI crew members. Each recruit upgrade gives you more rewards, while each CSI crew upgrade gives you stronger perks. The CSI crew rewards our detectives with permanent passive perks that you can enhance by completing collections. These perks are always available to you as long as the CSI crew member is unlocked. To access your recruits: Tap on the partner entry point on the map - click on the recruits tab on the top of the page. To access your CSI crew: Tap on the partner entry point on the map - click on the CSI crew tab on the top of the page.

A maximum of 6 recruits can be hired once; however, if you wish to hire more, you can swap the hired recruits with the new recruits available. NOTE: the recruits which are swapped do not lose out on their progress and can be hired back at no extra costs. Prestige mode is an option given to our staunch detectives after they earn a gold badge in their episodes. Prestige mode comes along with a few changes: 1. Instead of being rewarded gold stars, you will be rewarded with platinum stars. Friends and recruits will be equipped with platinum words instead of gold words, which will give you a higher overall score. Platinum stars can be traded for 2 cash.

When you are provided with a gold badge as an accomplishment, you are given the ability to upgrade your scenes to prestige mode. In prestige mode, you will be awarded platinum stars instead of gold stars. When you complete collecting all platinum stars, you will be rewarded with a platinum badge. These badges are used to complete quests granting you different rewards. You can check out your rewards on the quest entry point on the map. We’re aware of an issue that’s causing players on supported devices to receive an error prompting them to join a “Waiting List” to gain access to Fortnite Beta on Android.
