Aw G540a Ata Driver For Mac Os

Hello i got a problem here and i need help. My DVD/CD ROM works PROPERL, but the next day i inserted a dvd but my computer could not see the dvd rom drive anymore. I have opened device manager and it tells me that there's a problem with the dvd rom. I checked for the latest version of the dvd rom software, but found out that it is the latest. I checked for a solution online but there are not solutions to this problem.
